Flu-la-palooza
Yesterday, Vanderbilt University attempted to break a world record, by administering the most flu shots in a day. Flu-la-palooza smashed the previous record, so be sure to look for us in next year’s Guinness Book of World Records.Basically, the Medical Center set up a huge tent and recruited hundreds of volunteers to administer the shots, which were free to all members of the Vanderbilt community. I waited in line for 30 seconds and my vaccine was administered by an RN. It was incredibly efficient and easy.
A healthy campus is a better campus. Vanderbilt makes a great effort to ensure that the members of this community are healthy and happy.
It as awesome and, fingers crossed, I won’t get the flu!
