Free Ice Cream for Everybody!
Today, April 12, 2011, Ben and Jerry’s celebrated its ‘Free Cone Day.’ They thanked their customers for thirty-three great years of business with free ice cream for everyone!In case you didn’t know, Ben and Jerry’s is located on 21st Avenue, directly across the street from the Owen School of Business and some of the Arts and Science buildings. The line for free ice cream wrapped around the block, but the wait was definitely worth it! They served some classics, such as Cherry Garcia, and featured some new flavors, like Bonnaroo Buzz (in preparation for the summer music festival that takes place right here in Nashville!).
I walked over with some friends after class. It was the perfect mid-afternoon snack on this gorgeous spring day!
