Laundry
I haven’t posted in a few days, so I figured I should take a moment to update you on my life. I don’t really have any exciting weekend stories to share. I spent my Saturday enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather and playing frisbee on Peabody lawn. Most of Sunday, I worked on my first speech for my Introduction to Public Speaking class.It is now 11:55 on a Monday morning and I am done with class for the day. I really do love my schedule this semester. I have to be up for a 9 am class on Monday mornings, but getting done at 11 am helps me ease into the week. Since I have the rest of the day off, I figured I would do my laundry, because I have yet to do it since getting back from Winter Break (oops). Doing laundry here at school is not as daunting as it may seem. I only let it build up because I love clothes, so I have a lot of them. I figure that I should wear everything I have before repeating outfits.
Anyway, I currently sit in the laundry room alone using four washing machines and blasting my music. The laundry room can also serve as a great study space. It has tables that can seat about 8 people. My advice for doing your laundry in college is to do it at an off time (ie not on a Sunday afternoon). Bring some work with you and just sit back, relax, and enjoy the tumbling of the dryers.
