First Snow!
This morning I was woken up by girls running up and down the hall screaming excitedly. Sunday mornings on campus are usually quiet and slow. I hopped out of bed because I didn’t want to miss anything. It was well worth it because it was SNOWING! The first snow of the season is kind of a big deal for everyone. For those from up north, it reminds them of home. For those from the south, like myself, it was exciting and new! I have been on a few family vacations to cold places, but I now live in a place with a real winter! One of my favorite parts about Nashville is the four distinct seasons. Summer was hot but nice. It was always sunny and the lawns on campus were great for laying out and reading. Autumn was also beautiful here. The leaves turn all colors from magenta to yellow.Winter is not my personal favorite season, but the snow was pretty enchanting.I can’t wait for it to really stick so I can make snow angels! I am also really excited to experience my first Nashville spring. I imagine it like a mild summer, crisp and sunny.
