About MOSAIC

A collaboration between the MOSAIC Student Recruitment Committee and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, MOSAIC is an annual fly-in program for a select group of admitted students who have demonstrated commitment to belonging, community, and growth. For three days, attendees are immersed in a variety of experiences that illuminate our multicultural student organizations, different perspectives, and collaborative spirits.

MOSAIC attendees stay overnight with a current student host in Vanderbilt residence halls, including on The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Vanderbilt's home for first-year students. All meals during the program are included. Participants also engage in our Student Organization Fair, explore their individuality with our Community Centers, and attend the LiveVU multicultural performance showcase. The entire experience is filled with myriad opportunities to connect with other MOSAIC students, both current and newly admitted!

MOSAIC Travel Allowance

Students who attend MOSAIC + Anchor Day may receive a travel allowance to offset expenses. Travel allowance amounts are based on anticipated travel costs from your area, and invited students will learn travel allowance amounts through the MyAppVU portal. If you have questions about your travel allowance, please email mosaic@vanderbilt.edu, and we will be happy to assist you.

Parents of MOSAIC Attendees

Programming during MOSAIC is intended especially for students. Parents are invited to attend Anchor Day programming Saturday, April 12. For a schedule, see the Anchor Day web page. While students stay overnight on-campus both Thursday and Friday, April 10 & April 11, parents will need to make their own hotel accommodations. Vanderbilt maintains a list of local hotels for visitors.
