Updating Your Application through MyAppVU

Posted by on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Application Process, General Information, Vandy Bloggers.

We’ve now passed the deadline for first-year applications to Vanderbilt, and we thank each of you who applied. Your application is complete once you’ve submitted the required items included in your Common, Coalition, or QuestBridge application. However, we know that sometimes applicants need to submit a supporting document or make an update to their application.

The fastest way to update your application is to use your MyAppVU portal because all items uploaded will be immediately added to your admissions file. Please note that required materials such as high school transcripts and teacher recommendations cannot be submitted through this upload tool; to be considered official, these materials must be submitted directly from the application platform or from your high school. Here are the types of updates that can be submitted through your MyAppVU portal:

  • Early Decision agreement
  • First quarter/trimester grade report
  • Self-reported SAT/ACT score report
  • Student application update, such as corrections or any new information (for example, new leadership positions or awards)
  • Corrections to your CSS Profile
  • International CSS Profile (ISFAA)

Because all items uploaded will be added to your admissions file and will be considered if submitted in time for admissions review, it is not necessary to contact your admissions officer regarding these materials. Here’s a quick video showing how easy it is to submit updates through your MyAppVU portal.
