Maria, I appreciate this question. The pool of candidates for admission is very competitive and the number of spots in the first-year class are limited. Every year we have excellent applicants we are not able to admit. The results at Early Decision are final results — we aim to give students a true early decision so that they can make other plans if they are not admitted. I wish your daughter success with her future plans.
