Vanderbilt Class of 2014 Notifications in the Mail
Mar. 26, 2010—The months of waiting are one step closer to ending, and we are grateful for your patience. Decision notifications for the next incoming class of Vanderbilt University left our building on two USPS trucks and are on their way to you. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we were again humbled this year by an incoming class that continued to reach historic levels of diversity, academic quality, and depth of leadership, character, and personality. The pool of applicants for this year’s incoming class was no less than astounding.
Letter Checking Nearly Complete: Mailing Currently on Schedule
Mar. 25, 2010—Everything is still looking good for a tomorrow morning mailing of our decision notifications. Decision checking went very well and we are now into the letter checking phase, where we will check each letter that will leave our office tomorrow to make sure that the envelope and the letters match. Barring any last minute delay the letters should leave here tomorrow.
Mailing Week 2010 Begins
Mar. 22, 2010—Today we began decision checking on all completed applications for the Vanderbilt class of 2014. This is the first of a multi-step process of getting our decisions out the door which we intend to do by this Friday, March 26th.

Signature Merit Scholarships Announced Today
Mar. 5, 2010—Beginning today, we will notify recipients of the Cornelius Vanderbilt and Chancellor’s Scholarship awards by both e-mail and letter. Applicants who were not selected for either program will only receive an e-mail notification. A total of 42 Chancellor’s Scholarship and 139 Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship offers have been made.
