Meet Chris Ream

Posted by on Friday, August 13, 2010 in Nashville.

Austin, Texas is my hometown.

I am the admissions counselor responsible for the areas of Houston and Austin, and East Asia (except China).

In the office I work on Vandy Fan for a Day, Counselor Conference, Road Shows, and I am the liaison for the College of Arts and Science and ROTC programs.

Marche’ is my favorite place to eat in Nashville.

Best concert I’ve seen in Nashville was Robert Earl Keen at The Ryman Auditorium

On a Saturday you’re most likely to find me hiking or biking at Shelby Bottoms.

The best coffee shop here in town is Bongo Java  – East Nashville.

Southwest is the airline I fly most frequently to and from Nashville.

My favorite spot on campus is the 3rd floor of Biomedical Library (I read applications here).

The best dish at the Commons is sushi (on Fridays).

The East side of the city is a hidden gem in Nashville.

East Nashville is a great neighborhood.  My wife Jillian and I live there, but it’s a great place for visitors to check out.  Whether visiting the 5 Points for some ice cream at The Pied Piper, sitting down to eat at Eastland Café, The Silly Goose or Rose Pepper Cantina on Eastland Ave., or grabbing a sandwich at Mitchell’s Deli in Riverside Village, there are tons of excellent eating options.  It’s got a funky vibe that reminds me a lot of home in Austin, TX – AND I can see the Batman Building from my front lawn!

Just an FYI, there are still more Road Show events next week.  Check out our locations and register now!
