Class of 2026 – Early Decision by the Numbers
Last week, we released Early Decision II admissions decisions for applicants to the Class of 2026. That concluded our Early Decision phase of admissions, and we are now able to share the summary statistics about the newest Vanderbilt students. The students we have admitted through Early Decision I and II this year are an incredibly talented and accomplished group, and we’re excited for them to be joining the Vanderbilt community!
Vanderbilt Early Decision I and II Combined, Class of 2026 Summary Statistics
- Number of countries represented: 27
- Number of U.S. States represented: 50 states plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico
- Percent of students who received one or more significant honors or held major leadership positions: 100%
- Percent of students in the top ten percent of their graduating class: 96%*
- Middle 50% SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: 730-770**
- Middle 50% SAT Math: 760-800**
- Middle 50% ACT: 34-35**
- Early Decision Admit Rate: 17.6%
