Upcoming Deadlines: Admissions, Merit Scholarships, & Financial Aid

Posted by on Monday, October 24, 2011 in Application Process.

With November just around the corner there are many deadlines approaching in the world of college admissions. As a senior in high school, there are A LOT of dates to remember so I definitely recommend organizing yourself with a calendar/planner/smart phone application.

Sometimes a deadline is hard and fast – as in if you don’t meet it you’re out of luck. Other times people are willing to bend a little if you miss a deadline. Of course, it’s best to not miss deadlines, so you don’t have to find out!
Bottom line — to be sure you receive full consideration for admission and merit scholarships, please submit materials by the published deadlines:

Application for Admission

November 1, 2011 – Electronic submission or postmark deadline for Early Decision I application
January 3, 2012 – Electronic submission or postmark deadline for Early Decision II application
January 3, 2012 – Electronic submission or postmark deadline for Regular Decision application

When we have received all the pieces of your application, we will send you an email to let you know that your application is complete. Periodically, we also send emails letting you know if we are missing pieces of your application. Two pieces of advice: 1) remember to check your email regularly; and 2) be patient and understand that it may take a few days for pieces of your application to be processed in our system.

View all dates and deadlines, including when you can expect to receive your admissions decision.

Do you accept applications from homeschooling students?  Are the requirements different than for traditional students?
