Meet Andrew Moe

Posted by on Friday, September 10, 2010 in Balance.

My hometown is Janesville, Wisconsin.

I am the admissions counselor responsible for Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Central America, and South America.

In the office I work on MOSAIC, assessment and research, the high school relations team, and international recruitment.

Favorite place to eat in Nashville is Burger Up.

On a Saturday you’re most likely to find me at a park near my house reading and working.

Best coffee shop here in town is Fido’s in Hillsboro Village.

The airline I most frequently fly in/out of Nashville is Southwest.

My favorite spot on campus is Peabody library.

The best dish at the Commons is the banana bread pudding!

Las Paletes (Mexican popsicles) on 12th South is a hidden gem in Nashville.

Something else about Nashville … Nashville continues to surprise me… Just when I think I’ve seen all that Nashville has to offer, I find another neighborhood with tiny (but wonderful) restaurants and unique shops.  That’s what I like best about this city – you’ll always be amazed at what you find next.

Quick question. When I look at your admissions website at the vanderbilt profile- It still shows the entry class of 2009 details. Given that its mid september – do you know when the details for the entry class for the fall of 2010 ( class of 2014) will be available. Most schools have already updated their websites. Thank you

I’m working on getting you those numbers. The data became official last Friday, September 10th. When I have it, I’ll post it!

UPDATE (9/15/2010): Just heard from my Director that we’ll have those numbers late this week or early next week!
