Apply Now to be A Vandy Blogger…
Hello Current and Future Commodores,
Over the past year, we’ve had the best time reading student and staff blogs from across campus and the globe. And we’re not the only ones.
Students, parents, college counselors, alumni, and friends from 44 countries on six continents have checked in to see what’s happening at Vanderbilt and learned helpful information from inside the admissions office.
We’re looking to continue the fun next year and we need your help.
If you are a current student (or admitted for the class of 2012), you are eligible to be in the next group of Vandy Bloggers.
We’re looking for students, who…
-Are technologically savvy, good writers (previous blog experience is preferred)
-Are funny, quirky, observant, intellectual, curious, night-owls
-Have a variety of experiences on campus (academic major, art, dance, music, research, leadership, etc)
-Are student leaders (Resident Advisors, VUceptors, Student Media, Student Government, Greek Leaders, Multicultural Leaders, Performers, Honor Council, VPB…the list goes on)
-Are able to represent Vanderbilt to a wide variety of readers
-Use common sense
-Have fun and will convey that to readers
Still interested? Here’s how to apply:
-Write a sample blog posting finishing one of the following questions:
1. As a squirrel on Vandy’s campus life can be…
2. Before I graduate, I really want to…
