Where are you from?

Bridgewater, NJ

Which Admissions office programs are you involved in?

Anchor Days, Black & Gold Days, and PreVU.  I also help coordinate our various student workers, and lend a hand with data and assessment in the office.

What’s your favorite spot on campus? OR favorite Vanderbilt tradition?

The annual Class Celebration at the Country Music Hall of Fame for all freshmen after the first week of class. It's fun to see everyone dressed up for a party in their honor while they get to experience their new city!

What hobby do you wish you had more time for?

Spending time outdoors! Walking, running, hiking, reading - doing anything and everything I can outside.

What did you study in college?

Chemistry

If you could go to college again, what major would you choose?

Double major in Economics and Psychology. I would love that combination of analytical thinking and learning about others.

What is the hardest class you have ever taken?

Physical Chemistry. It was very theoretical, with so much math - not my strong areas - but I learned a lot!

What’s the best concert you’ve seen in Nashville?

A songwriter's night at The Listening Room. Sitting in the front row as four musicians played their favorite music was better than any other concert I've been to here.

What is your favorite place to eat in Nashville?

It’s really impossible to pick just one, but I always love Tavern. Fox’s Donut Den is also a great place for sweet treats!

What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?

Amanda Seyfried. She's a wonderful combination of goofy and smart, plus she can sing (I wish I could!), and she loves animals just like me.

Do you have pets?

I have a dog Charm who I adopted last year. She is some sort of terrier mix and definitely runs the household. I also have a horse named Wacky who is being spoiled back home in North Carolina.

If you weren't an admissions counselor, what would you be?

Definitely a fitness instructor, specifically barre classes. I love being active!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Prepare for the worst but hope for the best! It's gotten me through many situations but also helps me stay optimistic.
