I am from Winchester, Virginia, a small town in the northern Shenandoah Valley.

Here's one you won't hear elsewhere: the waiting room for the Vanderbilt Endocrinology Clinic on the 8th floor of Vanderbilt's Medical Center East building. Anyone who has to visit a doctor will tell you that having a world-class health center on campus is an immense benefit. And, because of my small town roots, I have a deep appreciation for a city view. The Endocrinology Clinic has the best skyline view from campus. There is also a tiny little-known coffee shop there that shares the same view.
In high school and college I played noisy rock and roll guitar, and I wish I played more now. I absolutely love my job and pretend that I am “on tour” when visiting high schools around the country.
My undergraduate major was psychology with philosophy and public relations minors. My master's degree is from Vanderbilt in higher education administration.
Human and Organizational Development! I love the track options and breadth of the curriculum.
The NFL draft came to Nashville just days before I graduated from Vanderbilt and days after I had committed to work at Vanderbilt. I went downtown for the draft and free Dierks Bentley concert on Broadway. The city, the people, and music felt like home. I love Nashville!
I am really good at finding four-leaf clovers.
I would be a rock and roll frontman.
