What’s your favorite spot on campus? OR favorite Vanderbilt tradition?
My favorite spot on campus is the table under the Calhoun arch. You get a beautiful view of campus from a shady, breezy spot. It’s a great place to eat lunch or get some work done.
What hobby do you wish you had more time for?
Reading! I read almost every book in the children’s section of the library as a kid, and I wish I had that much free time for reading now.
What did you study in college?
Human & Organizational Development on the Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness track
If you could go to college again, what major would you choose?
I would choose H&OD again in a heartbeat! It’s what piqued my interest in Vanderbilt in the first place, and I loved every minute of it.
What’s the best concert you’ve seen in Nashville?
The CMA awards in 2014! I got to see all my favorite artists perform all their most popular songs at Bridgestone Arena.
What is your favorite place to eat in Nashville?
Monell’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in Nashville. It’s all-you-can-eat, amazing, home-cooked southern food served family style.
What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?
I would want Mila Kunis to play me in the movie of my life. Not because of any similarities between the two of us, just because I think she’s really cool.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever gotten was given to me on one of my first days as a Vanderbilt student. When the President of Vanderbilt Student Government gave his speech to all new students at Founder’s Walk he said, “If you see a long line, get in it. There’s probably free food or a free t-shirt at the end of it.”
