What’s your favorite spot on campus?
Magnolia Lawn is my favorite spot on campus. No matter what time of year it is, Magnolia Lawn is picturesque.
What hobby do you wish you had more time for?
I played Ice Hockey for thirteen years growing up. I am in a Nashville adult league currently, but wish I had more time to play.
What did you study in college?
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Minor in Business Marketing.
What’s your favorite off-campus hangout?
Bridgestone Arena during Predators season. The atmosphere is electric!
What’s the best concert you’ve seen in Nashville?
Tim McGraw & Faith Hill; it was so much fun!
What is the moment you knew you were a Nashvillian?
When the NHL’s Nashville Predators became the first ever 16-seeded team to play in the Stanley Cup Finals. The city of Nashville completely rallied behind the Predators and the excitement was contagious. Nashville is an extraordinary city to call home.
What is your favorite place to eat in Nashville?
Mission BBQ off of Opry Mills Drive
What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?
I would be rooting for Leonardo DiCaprio to get the part. I feel like he has the acting skill to turn any biography into a hit film.
Do you have pets?
No pets currently. I had a dog, cat, and fish growing up. While I love all animals, I am unabashedly a dog person.
If you weren’t an admissions counselor, what would you be?
Ideally: 5-star restaurant food taster Realistically: lawyer
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
“You cannot control every situation, but you can control how you react. You are a product of your decisions, not merely your circumstances. You always have a choice.”
