Meet Julianna Staples
My hometown is Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
I am the admissions counselor responsible for Alabama and Kentucky.
My favorite place to eat in Nashville is South Street (and anywhere that serves sweet tea, which thankfully is almost everywhere)!
Best concert I’ve seen in Nashville was the Kanye West Commodore Quake 2006 at Vanderbilt Memorial Gymnasium.
On a Saturday you’re most likely to find me wandering around Hillsboro Village, Green Hills Mall, the Hill Center, or even on 2nd Avenue/Broadway… and by wandering around, I mean shopping.
The best coffee shop here in town is Fido in Hillsboro Village… I love it because I can walk there from my house and Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban are often sighted there.
The airline I most frequently fly in/out of Nashville is Southwest – bags fly free!
My favorite spot on campus is Memorial Gymnasium … Go ‘Dores!
The best dish at the Commons is the grilled chicken sandwich with barbeque sauce.
Hatch Show Print is a hidden gem in Nashville.
I love the Nashville skyline and still take pictures of it even though I’ve lived here since I was freshmen at VU. That’s right; I still love the Batman Building 6 years later! If you visit in the summer, go to a Nashville Sounds baseball game and their fireworks or to the downtown 4th of July fireworks both illuminate the Batman Building in the best ways I’ve ever seen.
