Dec. 17, 2014—There are so many different ways to enjoy a Vanderbilt class. An awesome professor, an engaging subject or topic, inspiring and industrious peers - you name it. Something which can frequently add a lot to what you get out of a class - and is simply often not duly recognized - is an "extra-credit" assignment. The reason why these tasks can get so interesting is because they can be such a contrast to our everyday work in the class.

A French Concert, Oh Là Là!
Mar. 27, 2014—This evening I had the delightful experience of attending a concert at Sarratt Cinema with my French 102 class, including my professor and her husband. The feature was Genticorum, a three-man band from Québec.

Dec. 19, 2013—My friend E. had sent me an email asking me whether I was still in Nashville on December 11-12, and due to Finals, I replied with a yes. She then asked me whether I would be interested in playing a show. Of course! I can't believe that my first ever non-classical music performance was for Andrew Peterson's show "Behold the Lamb of God"!
