What’s Next
Freshman year has been incredible, but now it is time to start looking forward to sophomore year! Here’s what I’ll be up to come the fall:
I’m back in North House!
No, I am not trying to sneak back on the Commons. I am going to be a Resident Adviser for North House next year! It will be an interesting transition from living as a resident in the houses to being a staff member, but I love being back in my home away from home again!
Continuing with my Secondary Ed/History Degrees!
Thanks to some recently turned in paperwork, my second major in History has officially been declared! Along with taking some interesting courses in the fall, I am enrolled in my first practicum for Secondary Education! I get to spend four hours a week observing in a classroom at the University School of Nashville.
Vanderbilt Student Government
Working as PR Chair for North House was one of the most rewarding parts of my first-year at Vanderbilt. I can’t wait for new challenges and adventures serving as the Executive Assistance for Vanderbilt Student Government!
Exploring Nashville (mostly the food)
I definitely did not get enough of the Tastes of Nashville this year! Some items on my food bucket list include The Pharmacy, Whiskey Kitchen, and Pinewood Social.
