Need some inspiration for Biology exam?

Posted by on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Academics, College Life, Exams, Professors.

Having recently survived my first Biology exam without any apparent physical damage (although amino acid formulas still haunt me in my sleep lol), and I think one of the many reasons this exam was manageable, even though Professor Stubbs exams are usually challenging, is that I made it fun!

You see, Stevenson Center WILL be a source of horror for many Arts and Science students. Ok, I’m exaggerating, but you will probably get lost in it sooner or later, and it’s where many student explore different passions and maybe test whether the pre-med path is what they really want!  You can find all your engineering friends roaming the halls, and have free popcorn on Sarah Stevenson Day.

For me, I loved the lecture halls at Stevenson and they were my favorite study spaces. Two days before the exam I started hitting the lecture hall late in the afternoon. I turned the lights on, put on some music and abused the blackboards! Yes, plural. There was something about moving boards up and down that made me feel confident and it looked pretty awesome!

Bottom line, I did what I had to do, I used the resources that Vanderbilt offered, and I survived my first biology midterm! My Biology career is off to a good start and I can’t wait for more nights at Stevenson, more chalk and more inspiration…. oh but you know what? Let’s just hold off tests for a while:D
