Registration!

Today, I woke up at 5:45 am because freshman registration for spring classes opened at 6 am. The morning was total chaos and all of my classes seemed to be full. So, when I logged out of registration at 6:15 am, I was only enrolled in 5 credit hours, which is not nearly enough to be a full time student.

As the day dragged on, I was starting to panic. Does it even matter what classes I take since I am an utter undecided ? I got into Chemistry 102b, which is a pre-medicine requirement, so I should be satisfied, right? I was convinced that things were not going my way until I got back from class and immediately logged onto YES to find that I had been removed from the wait list for two of my three remaining classes! I can now unofficially declare a minor in financial economics, as I am now enrolled in economic statistics this spring!

Though my day started out in a frenzy (and way too early!), it ended up working out splendidly! The best part about this school is that it is big enough that there are tons of classes in all disciplines to choose from. At the same time, it is small enough that everything ends up working out. Almost everybody gets the classes that they want, but professors are always available to work with class sizes and often make exceptions to admit students into already full classes.
