Why Vanderbilt I had a great experience visiting campus and getting to know some of the professors at Blair. Even through our first meeting, I felt that the faculty really wanted students to succeed and that Vanderbilt wasn’t creating a competitive environment between their students. |

Describe a favorite activity/organization and why you like it. My involvement in Vanderbilt Off-Broadway gives me so much joy. It’s a student run organization that produces three full run musicals throughout the year. There are great leaders within the group, and this activity has fostered many of my friendships at Vanderbilt. |

Describe a favorite class and why you like it. My Music as a Global Culture class is very interesting. We learn about the interconnectedness of music throughout the world, to further our own understanding of the borrowing with Classical music. I enjoy how we’ve been able to work outside of the classroom and explore different musical festivals and reach out to artists in Nashville. |

Describe your most memorable Nashville/off-campus experience. On a particularly rainy day of Fall Break, my friends and I found a coffee shop in East Nashville completely dedicated to board games and spent the entire day there. We tried a bunch of games and it was such a great thing to do on a lazy day of break. |
