I chose Vanderbilt because of the unique community that I saw as soon as I stepped foot on campus. Students here are not only motivated by the positive influence of their professors but also by the encouraging atmosphere of their peers who are always striving to succeed.
List a few of your activities. Describe a favorite activity/organization and why you like it.
Tour Guides, Reformed University Fellowship, Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity, Dore for a Day Executive Board, Vanderbilt Variations. I love RUF and the encouraging presence it has here on campus. Getting to fellowship with other Christians at large group and also build up others in their faith through smaller bible studies is so rewarding and the best part is it all takes place right here on campus.
Describe a favorite class and why you like it.
My favorite class so far was my first year writing seminar "Sociology of Medical Controversies". Not only was it an extremely interesting class but also the class as a whole actively participated and engaged every single day which was an amazing academic experience.
Describe your experience becoming a part of the Vanderbilt community.
