Vanderbilt has an unparalleled atmosphere in the air that I felt as soon as I walked on campus. There is an energy here that I have never felt anywhere else. I think it's a beautiful product of the passionate students on campus, Nashville's booming urban life, and the faculty who help drive our engagement.
Describe a favorite activity/organization and why you like it.
My favorite organization on campus is Alpha Kappa Psi, Vanderbilt's business fraternity. The organization gifted me with a family that pushes me and inspires me to be a better person every day.
Describe a favorite class and why you like it.
My favorite class thus far at Vanderbilt has been Small Group Behavior. In this HOD class, I got to simultaneously study the psychology of group dynamics and manage a team that was consulting for a local business. The class helped me realize my fascination with organizational behavior both in and outside the classroom.
Describe your experience becoming a part of the Vanderbilt community.
The Vanderbilt community actively welcomes you as soon as you arrive. From the hundreds of upperclassmen that greet you on move in day to your dedicated Visions group leader, we support each other immediately. Vanderbilt is made up of many smaller communities that you will find yourself in over your four years. But ultimately, the important part is how these small communities connect with one another to form the greater Vanderbilt community.
