Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed service fraternity here that has really enriched my life. It has introduced me to the heart of Nashville by bringing me to people I can serve, and has enabled me to grow in empathy and compassion.

Describe a favorite class and why you like it.

My favorite class was the Philosophy of Education class I took first semester of freshman year. It was completely discussion based and the professor guided us to think about important questions that I had never considered before, such as “Does the current education system reflect the goals of education that we want for our children?” As an education policy student, these discussions let me see things from a variety of perspectives

Describe your most memorable Nashville or off-campus experience.

March for our Lives took place last spring and I got the incredible opportunity to participate in it. The amount of people that turned out to support this important cause was awe inspiring
