This afternoon admissions officers began calling for our second round of admissions offers from our waitlist. As with last week, we will reach out to students we would like to admit by telephone over the next several days (2-3). We will then ask if the student would like to be admitted to Vanderbilt. The week is senior week here at Vanderbilt. Commencement activities start winding up on Wednesday, which by the way you can follow on Twitter. There's a story unfolding at this year's graduation that reminds me why I love this time of year, and why Vandy is a special place to me.
