A New Chapter – Move In Day 2010
It’s the start of another chapter inVanderbilt history today as the newest residents of Vanderbilt’s Freshman Commons move in. It is a tremendous sight, and truly symbolizes the immediate embracing of our newest Commodores. Never fails to give me chills.
My 4.5 year-old son and I have made it a tradition to visit campus to stop by to see as many of the students and families from Chicago (my territory) as I can. It’s such a thrill to get to welcome them to their new home and to do so in person. Andrew, my son, is there for the ice cream they hand out at each house – and he makes no bones about it. If you’re moving in today, congrats! Welcome to the Vanderbilt family!
