2010 Waitlist Closed

Posted by on Monday, August 9, 2010 in Waitlist.

Emails have now gone out to all students who remained on our waitlist notifying them that our class is now full.  This is a exciting for the University, as it means that we are one step closer to welcoming our next incoming class.  However, we know that it also can be disappointing for some of you that were holding out hope of being admitted to Vanderbilt.  We want to thank all of you who applied to Vanderbilt for the incoming class of 2010 (Vanderbilt class of 2014) and especially everyone who reads this blog.  Thank you so much for your interest in our University community, it is very humbling.

We look forward to writing to you from the road and from the admissions committee room in the coming fall and spring.

Road Shows Now in Full Swing

The first of two straight weeks of receptions for interested students and parents all around the country are now underway.  Check out the schedule of the Vanderbilt Road Shows.

Can you now please tell us how many students were placed on the waitlist originally, and ultimately how many of those were admitted?

David, you can find the information from the previous cycle in our Common Data Set. The numbers for this most recent cycle will be available at the same site later in the year. Good question!
