On Summer Time
In the summertime, I sometimes take to walking our campus to get some air and clear my head. Vanderbilt’s resplendent campus in the summer morning sun – it’s extraordinary. There are times on these campus walks when you catch a glimpse down a walkway just in time to gather an invitation from a park bench to sit and stay a while. Just breathe and listen – that’s all it asks of you.
