Favorites of Fall 2011

To shake things up a bit, I wanted to give other non-blogging Vanderbilt students the chance to get a few words in. As we finish the Fall 2011 semester, we are excited for the coming of Winter Break, the ability to sleep in, watch TV, and hang out more than is possible while school is in session, etc. But, there are parts of Vanderbilt and parts of Fall 2011 that we will reminisce about over break. So, I ask my peers: What is your favorite memory from this past semester?

Justin, freshman, HOD major

I would say one of the best memories from this past semester was at the beginning, when we did the Founder’s Walk. It was really amazing to see nearly the entire school cheering you on as you walked past. It made me feel very welcome here.

Sami, junior, Biological Sciences major

Help me out here. I don’t remember her name, but that youtube sensation (Karmin) who came to Vanderbilt Homecoming and had a small concert on Kensington Place. That was awesome.

Kirsten, junior, Anthropology & Spanish double major

Being accepted to study abroad in Chile!

Aladine, junior, Biomedical engineering major

My favorite memory from this past semester is planning/attending the Interfaith/MLC Soccer Tournament.  Just seeing the amount of culture and diversity on that field was priceless.

Una (me!), junior, Molecular & Cellular Biology and French double major

Definitely acing an organic chemistry exam last week! =)
