The Open House program is designed to showcase our academic programs and to provide admitted students with a sense of student life at Vanderbilt. Please plan to begin the day between 8:15 and 8:45 a.m. in the lobby of Mayborn Hall. Parking will be available in Magnolia Circle. 

Tentative Schedule

Morning Session - Mayborn Hall

8:15-8:45 a.m. — Registration and Breakfast — Mayborn Lobby

9:00-9:30 a.m. — Welcome and Overview of Departments, Mayborn 204

9:30-11:00 a.m. — Campus Tour, depart from Mayborn Lobby

11:00-11:30 a.m. — Sample Lecture: "How We Know What Isn't So," Mayborn 204, Andrew Van Schaack, Assistant Professor of the Practice, Human and Organizational Development  

11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — Lunch, Wyatt Center Rotunda

Afternoon Session - Wyatt Center

12:15-1:00 p.m. — Your Peabody Experience:  A Four-Year Roadmap, Wyatt Center (breakout by program)

1:00-1:30 p.m. — My Vanderbilt:  Student Life, Wyatt Center Rotunda

1:45-2:30 p.m. — The View from The Commons:  An Overview of the First-Year Experience; Wyatt Center Rotunda (parents), Wyatt Center Rooms 102, 121, 201 (students) 

2:30-3:00 p.m. — General Q&A and "Why I Chose VU," Wyatt Center Rotunda 

Map and Directions

Directions to Lot 77: From downtown Nashville, drive west on Broadway and go left at the fork onto 21st Avenue. Take 21st Avenue for approximately .5 miles. Turn left onto Edgehill Avenue (at stop light) and right onto Magnolia Circle.

From west of campus, driving east on West End Avenue, turn right onto 21st Avenue and follow 21st around to the right (School of Law will be on your right). Turn left onto Edgehill Avenue (at stop light) and right onto Magnolia Circle.
