Admitted Students

Congratulations on your admission to Vanderbilt! We look forward to welcoming you to campus as a Commodore.

If you’re still making your final college selection, we encourage you to take advantage of one of our visit programs—there’s no better way to learn about Commodore life than by visiting campus and speaking with professors and current students.

And, if you’ve decided to join the Vanderbilt community, we want to help you through the next steps of this process. Below you’ll find helpful links pointing you toward the basics, including setting-up a student ID and applying for housing. Everything you need to begin your new life in the Vanderbilt community is just a click away.

**The "Health Information" included in the Transfer Enrollment Fact Sheet is incorrect. Please refer to the information below instead:

All incoming students are required to complete a Student Health Center Health Questionnaire that includes information regarding university and state-mandated vaccinations, as well as information on other strongly recommended vaccinations. This Health Questionnaire should be returned to the Student Health Center with vaccination information. This form also contains important health history information that allows the staff at the Student Health Center to better serve your needs. The immunization requirements and health questionnaire can be found here

Vanderbilt University requires all eligible students to be covered by a health insurance plan that is comparable to or exceeds the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan. If you have other insurance and do not wish to participate in the Student Injury and Sickness Plan offered through the University, you must complete an online waiver form (www.gallagherkoster.com/vanderbilt) indicating your other insurance information. The online waiver form must be completed no later than August 1 or you will remain enrolled in the plan offered by the university and will be responsible for paying the insurance premium. All students who wish to waive coverage are required to complete an online waiver from at the beginning of each academic year.
